ABOUT SILENT VISUAL MEDIA

Silent Visual Media inspires filmmakers to care about their mission, strengthening the community and its impact to connect the Deaf and hearing worlds using the medium of film.

The only thing a Deaf person can not do is hear. With the appropriate accommodations on set, the Deaf community can work in the film industry. 

 

Inclusion is imperative. Silent Visual Media creates diverse and accessible entertainment while providing content for everyone.

Signtastic! 

​

 This game show is a fun way to learn some American Sign Language, with a chance to earn a grand prize of $5,000. SignTasTic! bridges the gap between the Deaf and hearing communities.

Commercial video for Deafstone Services Inc. stressing the importance of SSP's (Support Service Provider's) and senior citizen services for Deaf and DeafBlind individuals. 

QR Code Shoot

Silent Visual Media worked with local Pittsburgh production crew members to film 50 ASL signing instruction videos for SignTasTic! Season 1. The 2-day production experience also resulted in a variety of other exciting content for SVM. Learn more here.
